Vivians content

Vivian is now an npc quest that is playable currently but is missing some intended content.

Whats implemented

Vivian has a little quest line in the area where the white cats show up. Top middle of the level is a shed, on first entering Vivian will be rummaging through the shed after talking to her, reloading the area will result in a slightly changed outside and inside of the shed where Vivian will be. She functions as a merchant. She also has a little minigame with a unique game over if you lose.  This quest line was a commission for a wonderful friend of mine, Vik, who is a wonderful member of the phantom curse community. He has helped me grow and evolve this project for quite a long time now. Happy birthday Vik ^_^

What not implemented.

There is some content not yet implement for Vivian, but the main chunk of her content is done. I plan to add a tf game over in her minigame soon, as well as having Vivian appear in a few spots around the outside of the dark cave so players can but more lantern fuel from her, after they have met her. So stay tuned for that extra content coming soon. Also planning at some point to have a mini game music them made for Vivian’s roulette minigame.

Shifted content around for various reasons.

After the completion of Vivian’s quest I plan to rework the bats, as they are another source of fuel for the lantern. Vivian is also planned to have a tf animation, as well as be a merchant that shows up around the dark cave to sell fuel and other wares potentially. After reworking the bat, aka adding a tf animation, as well as adding a drop for fuel, the plan is to add a mushroom enemy that’s stationary and give the player curse build up. Maxing out curse build up cause’s tf in dark cave area. Once that enemy is complete, I then plan to start working on a area past the dark cave, where the beehive will be located. That way I can finally implement the bee grub enemy that I already have some sprites for as well as a slight bee rework with a neat little secret. From there, its just tweaking the slime enemies and white cats to be inline with the current enemy changes. Aka adding drops as well as implementing cure build up functionally for struggle animations where appropriate. Ultimately I cut the slime npc quest I wanted to make this update. I will likely have it be content added later down the line once we work on lockwood(npc village).
